Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Conformis at conformis.tech, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users including free and Pro plan subscribers.

2. Description of service

Conformis provides automated static analysis of software codebases to identify AI features and generate preliminary compliance documentation under EU Regulation 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act). Reports are generated using AI-assisted analysis and are intended as a starting point for compliance work, not as a substitute for legal advice.

3. No legal advice

Conformis is a software tool, not a law firm. Nothing in our reports, documentation, or communications constitutes legal advice. You should consult qualified legal counsel before making compliance decisions. Conformis does not guarantee that use of our service ensures regulatory compliance.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit code for scanning — including any IP rights or confidentiality obligations. You must not submit code that belongs to a third party without authorization. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all compliance reports before acting on them.

5. Free and Pro plans

Free plan: 3 scans per month. Access to core scanning features, Article 11 PDF, and remediation guidance. No credit card required.

Pro plan: €99/month. Unlimited scans and priority support. Pro access is currently granted manually. Billing is handled via invoice. Subscriptions renew monthly and may be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice.

6. Intellectual property

Conformis and its underlying technology, design, and content are owned by Reza Kermanian. Your source code remains your property at all times. By submitting code for scanning, you grant Conformis a limited, temporary licence to process it solely for the purpose of generating your compliance report.

7. Limitation of liability

Conformis is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conformis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including regulatory fines or penalties resulting from reliance on our reports.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@conformis.tech.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the Republic of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Italy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Conformis after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
